A tale of 2 songs: Hauntingly-beautiful extended intro about lost love kicks into high-energy rock, going from 81 BPM at 162 BPM. Modern harmonies and melody over a driving Classic Rock-inspired base. Also features a brief wah wah guitar solo with drum fills reminiscent of Rush. Alternation between full-time and half-time keeps the listener guessing as the story continues. Influences include Alan Parsons, INXS, Chris Isaac, Styx and Todd Rundgren.
